Solves the 'what do I wear to this' problem. There's a version of this occasion that calls for a polo and I used to dread it. The ones that are nice enough for dinner look overdressed for weekends. The navy sits differently than most polos. There's navy and then there's navy. This one reads deeper, more sophisticated — it photographs well and holds its colour after washing. The almond colourway is even more interesting in person; I ordered it on a whim and it's become a staple. The embroidery detail is clean and doesn't overdo it. Good polo.
